This tombstone talks about that sort of reality. It is the product of someone too poor to buy a ready-made granite marker, yet with the skill to make one for himself. I love the way it has aged, and the slightly awkward way that "at 11:30" has been crammed in, at the last moment. I love the care with which it has been maintained: the little fence around the plot, the flowers.
