The design studio is the heart of an architectural education. In these courses students synthesize lessons in individual and collaborative projects. As students progress through the year levels they address issues of increasing complexity and sophistication.

graduate study
The School of Architecture and Urban Planning offers three different graduate degrees in addition to the professional degree in architecture. The School offers a Master of Arts in Architecture, and a Ph.D. in Architecture, and a Master of Urban Planning.
